Overview
The concept is simple. We've created
one web
site where every SID and
media
person can
download all the basic
documents for any
school in the country.
Once a conference office subscribes
each SID in that conference receives a
login and
can begin uploading documents. SIDs can then direct document requests
from other SIDs and/or
the media to www.ConferenceMediaCenter.com.
No login is needed to download.
How it Works
Upload: Our online upload interface is
easy to
use. Simply log-in, select a
sport, browse your computer for the file, then
click Upload. That's it.
The date and time of the upload is
automatically recorded so potential downloaders know
if the file is the most recent. The file can
be named whatever
you like, but we recommend using a
naming
convention such as "school_sport_year.filetype"
The best part is we've already populated
the database with all the members and associate members, and the sports they sponsor, for every conference. The
system is ready and waiting for
documents to be uploaded to it.
Download: Simply direct all requests for rosters (StatCrew and/or Word), coach
and top player head shots, team quick
facts, post-game fax/email lists and
logos to ConferenceMediaCenter.com
Users have the
option of selecting the school directly or selecting a conference then viewing by school
or by sport.

Top Features - Upload
1. Easy-to-use, point-and-click online interface for SIDs to upload their documents and logos, and manage staff information and user accounts.
2. The system will accept any standard Windows file name and document type. A naming convention (school_sport_filename.xxx) is recommended, but not mandatory.
3. Each section contains a Batch Upload that lets SIDs upload all documents types at one time.
Top Features - Download
4. Only available documents will have a "download arrow" icon.
5. Each "download arrow" will display the filename and date/time the file was uploaded.
6. Clicking "download arrow" prompts file download (no need to right-click/save-as).
7. Downloaders can choose to view by Conference or School.
8. A "breadcrumb" trail at top of page makes for easy navigation without using the "back" button.
9. Each Conference home page displays a link to it’s SID directory, complete with phone, email link and sports covered.
